Located on the banks of Jonathan Creek and nestled in the beauty of the Great Smoky Mountains, Cozy Creek Cottages is your respite from the daily grind and hectic pace of life. Relax on your private deck overlooking Jonathan Creek or gather around a roaring campfire with friends and family. Either way, you'll certainly be back for s'more!
Cozy Creek Cottages is a family run business since 1976. First owned and constructed by the Malmin Family, Karl and Dee Malmin along with their 2 children, Kyle and Stacey. After 45 years, the Malmin's decided it was time to retire, and in 2021 the resort was sold . The new owner was elated when the opportunity to purchase Cozy Creek Cottages became available as they were very familiar and very fond of the area having vacationed in Maggie Valley as early as the 1990's when Ghost Town in the Sky was in it's heyday!

Cozy Creek Cottages is open year round and offers the perfect launching pad for all things to do in Western North Carolina. Whether you're visiting the Biltmore Estates in Asheville, visiting the awesome Wheels Through Time Motorcycle Museum, strolling the quaint streets of downtown Waynesville, trying your luck at Harrah's Cherokee Casino, or adventuring out on one of the many thrilling white water rafting trips, Maggie Valley is the place to be. Maggie Valley is filled with great restaurants, unique shopping, championship golf, and tons of outdoor adventure. The Maggie Valley Festival Grounds is host to some of the areas top festivals and is only minutes away. The action doesn't stop in the winter as Maggie Valley is home to some of the best skiing in North Carolina!
Maggie Valley's elevation is about 3200 ft. which makes it a great place to visit anytime of the year with many summer, fall and winter activities. The mountains transform into the majestic colors of Autumn from late September through November and Maggie Valley is the perfect location to take it all in. The entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway is only minutes away from Cozy Creek Cottages via milepost 455.7 and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park at Cherokee is just off milepost 469.

OUR CABINS
Many places describe themselves as a "home away from home" only to get there and find a coffee maker and maybe a small fridge with a microwave on top. That's not the case here at Cozy Creek Cottages. All of our cabins are equipped with everything you need to truly make this a "Home Away From Home". Amenities include a full kitchen complete with dinnerware, cookware, and utensils, separate living area with a fireplace, dining area, fresh linen, a private deck and of course, a coffee maker!
We offer both one and two bedroom cottages equipped with everything you'll need during your stay including all linens. Our cozy one-bedroom cabins are perfect for couples and can accommodate up to four people (assuming two of them like a sofa-bed) and all but one of these cottages comes with your private deck overlooking Jonathan Creek. Our two bedroom cabins can accommodate up to six people. Plus, all cottages include your own personal outdoor grill for your prize winning barbecue!

The fun doesn't stop inside. Outside you'll find lots to do including a "park-like" playground along with outdoor games such as tether-ball, ladder-ball, and basketball. Picnic tables and a large fire-pit are also available along with outdoor seating to take in the sounds and beauty of Jonathan Creek. You can put your tube in the water or just wade around to your delight. The water is crystal clear and cold!

ACTIVITIES
Directly across the street is the award winning par 72 golf course of Maggie Valley Country Club. Lake Junaluska Golf Course is just a few miles away.
Jonathan Creek runs right through the property. While we do not provide tubes, you're welcome to bring your own. If you want something more adventurous check out Deep Creek State Park.

Checkout Tuckaseegee Rafting, they are perfect for beginner and intermediate rafters. Other rafting adventures are available on the Nantahala and Pigeon Rivers.
