     There are many trout waiting for you in Jonathan Creek.  Each year Jonathan Creek is stocked with Brown and Rainbow trout.  They bite on bread balls, corn, worms, flies, and many other things.  If you have a cottage on the creek it is very likely you might see a fisherman wade by.
     We do not furnish poles so don't forget yours.  And when you catch your trout fry it up and enjoy.  If for some reason they are not biting there are a few trout farms in the Maggie Valley area.

License Information

    A license is required for ages 16 years or older. A one day license is $5 for NC residents or $10 for non-residents plus $10 trout stamp. A fishing license is $20 per year.  Your may get a license and information at Lowe Fly Shop & Outfitters at 977 North Main Street, Waynesville. Give them call at 828-452-0039.
